In Conjunction with International Conference on Advances in Computing and Communications (ACC-2011)
Aim and Scope
-------------
Cloud computing builds on decades of research in virtualization, distributed computing, utility computing, and, more recently, networking, web and software services. It implies a service-oriented architecture, reduced information technology overhead for the end-user, great flexibility, reduced total cost of ownership, on demand services and many other things. CloudComp2011 will bring together researchers and practitioners in cloud computing and data-intensive system design, programming, parallel algorithms, data management,scientific applications, and information-based applications to maximize performance, minimize cost and improve the scale of their endeavors. High-quality papers on cloud computing that at the time of submission are not under review or have not already been published or accepted for publication elsewhere are solicited.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to
* Access Control in Cloud Computing Systems
* Cloud Applications
* Cloud Architectures
* Cloud Privacy and Security
* Cloud Protocols
* Cloud Resource Management
* Content Delivery Networks Using Storage Clouds
* Cross-Platform Interoperability
* Data Intensive Scalable Computing
* Data Management Within and Across Data Centers
* Middleware Frameworks
* Mobile Cloud
* New Parallel / Concurrent Programming Models for Cloud Computing
* Power-Efficient Computing for Clouds
* Programming Models and Tools
* Query Processing and Indexing In Cloud Computing Systems
* Reliability of Applications and Services Running on the Cloud
* Scientific Computing in the Cloud
* Semantic Web for Clouds
* Service-Level Agreements, Business Models, and Pricing Policies
